85 mr2 lights don't close

hey all,
So i got an 85 MR2 today and after getting to know the car i did the normal stuff. changed the airfilter it was old, dirty, and bent. changed oil and filter, charged battery and clean all terminals and cleaned the throttlebody. while exploring the knobs and switches i noticed that my headlights do not close. how do you close them?
also when i turn the car off and pull out the key, the clock stays on and so does the radio only way to turn it off that can find is disconnect the battery. anybody have any ideas.

Lights are supposed to close when you turn off the headlight switch. The switches are prone to failure, there's a solder joint that breaks. Pull out the switch and you'll probably find the prob, re-solder or replace the switch.

The radio is supposed to be on a switched circuit. Somebody must have re-wired yours. You have an aftermarket stereo?
