im new

hey whats up i just bought a 1986 mr2 non supercharged n/a red top motor and needless to say it needs soem work first off dose any one know where i can get an intake pipe that connects from the throttel body to the mas and also it needs new struts all the way aroudn any body know where i can get a good deal at just let me know thanks

p.s. sorry for my typeing im a bit dislexic.

Red top motor? Is the valve cover and intake manifold red? If so, i would love to see a pic of this.

Someone will be able to tell you better than i can on how to post pics here pretty soon.

i know theres a blue top that is the none vit n/a then theres a the red to with the vit and then the supercharged version is next i would imagen mien has the vit from what i herd its something like the early vvt-i or toyota v-tec i dont know i may be wrong

Search ebay for the strut inserts. Tokico hp 200 bucks or tokico illuminas for 400 bucks.

well first its the breaks the need to be turned with soem new pads then th ebody and paint and lastly new struts all the way around and probly a coffy can on the back for thers a exhaust leak after the cat so ill just pop one on for i have store credit at a local preformace shop then when i get back from my a school with that 4 grand bonus supercharged engine swap...or turbo

befor i owned the car my friend owned it and they got board one day and snded half of the car and then spraypainted the side skirts an rear bumper black and a few other spots gray realy pisses me off for the paint was perfect with the exception of the front bumper witch always looked like crap but it was covered bye a hood bra so it once was beautiful and now its kinda an ugly ducklign but one day it shall be pritty again.
