looking for a speedometer cable

Hi I am a newbee Also!
Does anybody know if there is a quick fix for a speedometer cable 1987 manual? Its sounds like it spinning but the speedometer does not read. Very Loud noice. Is there something I can do or just replace the cable. Where to buy one in Canada other than dealer?

Any help would be appreciated.

I just purchased one two weeks ago at Rock Auto parts (www.rockauto.com) and it works prefect. Awesome deal and works prefect.

I have looked, there is no part listed. I looked in body Interior 87 toyota mr2 and nothing.

What year did you look in?
