A Bunch of Parts

My husband has a lot of parts for his 1988 Supercharged MR2 in our basement. We are looking for a whole motor, his is in pieces.
We are also selling all of the parts. I don't know much about this car, I am trying to learn. I know the motor was machined to have 13-1 compression (ya the guy who said it was possible was an idiot, apparently that would blow the car up). I don't know what I have. I want to get this car running as a surprise for my husband.
Do you have a 4a-gze supercharged motor?
Do you need parts for one?
Is this do-able?
Thank you for being patient with a uneducated wife trying to surprise her husband

sounds like an awesome suprise! good luck! 13-1 compression is defiantely for a naturally aspirated motor, i'm not sure about the stock compression on the 4age, i think it is 9.5 to 1.

Interesting. I wish my wife would surprise me and finish some of my projects . I currently have a gze (supercharged) motor I'm finishing up and also a block in storage. Are you trying to rebuild the one you have? If you just need the block and have all the internals (crank, rods, pistons, etc.) maybe that would work for you? I'll PM you
