parts car in AR

I found an 86 mk1 in paragould AR for 400. I live in columbus Ohio. would like some help getting this car and keeping it from the scrap yard. car won't start due to chewed up wiring. it has a rust free body and only 113k on it. I just need some body parts to fix my rustbucket 86. I have a truck w/trailer hitch that can tow it back. Talked to owner on 3/28 about the car, still has it. my e-mail is fuzandfur@yahoo.com

Idealy, another mk1 owner from the midwest would meet me in Ohio, drag the car back to the closest house and divide it up. Or, tell me what you want from it, and I will split it up. My problem right now is I just don't have the money to go and pick it up. My truck is a ford f150 with a 5.8 v8 with a 3-speed auto. can you say 11mpg on the freeway while towing. I need to put about $100 into it before it does a trip like that. I just want someone to share the cost with. Its just a good deal I dont want to miss out on, this car will save me alot in the longrun. FYI-I have to cut out were my sway-bar sits, thats how bad my rust is, the engine is great.
