wtb: seatblet tensioner

I'm looking for the seat belt tensioners (at least that's what I think they are) that are found in the door frames. They are black and have a moving piece that moves back and forth. They are found just above the striker. I need both sides if they aren't broken. Email me at skydivedan@hotmail.com if you have them.

The part is in the bottom left hand corner of this pic...

That looks like the door ajar switch to me.

A lady in Vancouver, WA is giving away a rolled '86 that you could snag some parts off of. I'm pretty sure those aren't a tension of any type. In my '88 the driver's side was broken off and my seatbelt worked fine but my dome light wouldn't turn on when the door was open.

I dont think those control the dome light cause mine are broken and the light works just fine. The light is controlled by the door pins

Yeah, muffinman is right. The dome lights still work with the door open/closed properly if those things are wedged in any position. I've seen them on a number of older Toyota's and have no clue what they do.

Are they related to the seatbelts? I don't know how the seatbelt use would be related to the doors.
