NEED TRD HEADERS FOR 88 MR2

Looking forTRD headers for my 88 MR2. mine has a crack in it and do not trust welding it since the crack is at the point where it gets the hottest. Does anyone have one to get rid of???

I think you can still get them from toyota believe it or not.

And ya, you'd be wise not to trust a welded crack, it never works

SC TRD Headers

You are aware that a set of TRD headers are advertised in the MK1 Parts For Sale section for a SC car?

You can get stock cast iron manifolds - in fact, I keep them in stock - but TRD discontinued those headers some years ago.

Welded cast iron is a gamble. Welding a crack in mild steel can be very successful, if the welder does his job correctly and if the part has enough strength to hold up after the repair is made.

Their website still advertises the trd header for the 85 - 89 mr2 "spyder"
Toyota Racing Development I kinda assumed that they'd still have a few kicking around. But i guess the website is inaccurate, or just plain wrong.

Wow, it's still on the site. I guess TRD's priority is not on website accuracy.

If you download their PDF catalog, it doesn't show that header, so that seems to be a little more up to date.
