Lowering Springs

Looking for a used set of lowering springs, preferably ST's. The last owner of my AW11 decided to cut the stockers to lower the car (very unsafe, very unpredictable). If you have a set that you did not like from a previous configuration, let me know.

Thanks!
Allan

Eibachs were nice and stiff however an hour plus on the interstate gave me a headache and a sore neck (kyb gr2 shocks).

Hey Allan, (Sarge?)

You didn't mention what look you were going for? Looks only?

Going track racing or just street?

What Kind of budget you lookin' at? (major consideration)

Watch what your buying. If your inexperienced better do some research on progressive vs lineal type springs. How you load them and their reaction rate could matter. If tracked.

Cut springs, thought that went out decades ago.

Not to trying to be unappreciative, but please keep advises to the proper sections of the forum. I appreciate the offer on the stock springs, I'll keep that in mind should I decide to just daily the car instead of building it to a budget track car. For those who really want to know what I'm doing, I plan to have a few sets around from different manufacturers for testing. Reviews from other people are not very reliable when it comes to suspension components (i.e., different driving skills/techniques, component combination or settings, alignment, weight distribution modifications, etc). Obviously, buying new sets would cost a fortune. I have a couple of used sets along with GAB strut inserts from upgarage.com that a friend of mine will be bringing back from Japan for me next month, it would just be nice to have first hand comparisons from other sets that can be acquired stateside.

I think you're a bit new to be telling regs where to post. Advise is always welcome everywhere here; it's why we're members.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that regs/mods do not need to follow forum rules or that my post counts needs to be a certain number before I request others to follow the rules.

Thread jack away then!

ST Springs are available new, as of 6 weeks ago or so. They were $200 plus shipping, which was $20 to Colorado from California.
