1991 MR2 Turbo
Vehicle Location: Saskatoon, Canada
Vehicle Price: Best Offers
Vehicle Odometer: 107000

Hi, I have a 1991 Toyota MR2 turbo I'm thinking about selling. It has only 107000km (about 61000mile). It is almost completely stock with the exception the 17" wheels and a JVC CD Player. Never winter driven and no rusts. Please let me know if you're interested, I will consider delivering it if a deal is reached and also depends on the distance as well. Looking for offers right now.

My email is: flag_zulu@yahoo.ca

Phone: (306)612-3456

Hi, I'm hoping for $15 000 because I paid $18 000 for it about a year ago. But I'm willing to take offers as well.

Not to be an ass, but I don't think you'll get that much for it, even in Canada here. The influx of JDM vehicles has driven costs down.

15,000? You don't mean US dollars, do you?

He may be misjudging the market.

I see where you're coming from with the influx of JDM, quite honestly I'm willing to sell for less. However of note with regards to the JDM, first you're looking at buying something that's sitting in a field for many years and most of them has lots of problems ranging from engine to rusting issues. Then the issue of reliability, the JDM cars are not made for North American Road let alone our crappy gas here so the last 2 Skylines and 3 JDM MR2 I looked at before buying this one had a crap load of problems. So I priced out a JDM MR2 and the costs to restore it and get a bunch of engine work done, I was looking at paying nearly $15 000 anyway. So in the end I bought this car from a gentleman who meticulously took care of it to the point where everything looks almost new. I know this will only appeal to selected group, since I don't really want to attract the kids with no money but want the fast toys. I hoping to attract collectors and to be honest, this car is like a baby to me. I bought this when I was living in warm Victoria BC and when I moved back to Saskatoon I had to store this in my Parents garage since my Condo don't have one. So I'm only selling this because I want to stop bugging my parents by taking space in their garage with my MR2, in brief I want to find a buyer who will take care of this car and not beat the crap out of it because it will be such a waste. Anyway, I know it is a lot but again I'm only looking at selling it to the collector type and if I can't sell it to the right person then I'll just pay for storage in the winter and use it as my summer toy.

Also when I get a chance I'll post some shots of the interior and the engine.

I hope that was a joke.

Congrats on the sale for close to asking price. Not my cup of tea, but it's tough to find a low mileage unmolested two so I'm not surprised you came close.
