For Sale: 91 MR2 Turbo In Texas

Sup guys, after a long hard debate for a few months and now that I'm buying a house this month I am left with no choice but to sell my 2.
It's a 91 completely stock except for the rims. Black interior with the sunroof.

In the next few paragraphs I'm going to attempt and try to explain everything possible thing that is wrong with this vehicle EVERYTHING. I want you to know everything you are getting because when I bought this the owner failed to tell me a few things. Here goes..

For starters it is currently not running right. A few months ago it hesitated when I passed a vehicle which then made it become jumpy under 1500rpms but above that it clears up and is smooth like it always is. I parked it instantly till i got it fixed and haven't drove it since, but that was 3 months ago and I haven't been able to do a thing with it except change the spark plugs, plug wires, cap, rotor and valve cover gasket just because I was working there already but it didn't clear it up. It's something small thats for sure, but don't have the time anymore to check it out. Besides that the motor is STRONG with plenty of power. It is in nice clean condition with no crazy add ons.

It had a bad oil leak when I bought it and it turned out to be the oil pump gasket was cracked so I replaced the bad gasket with gasket maker which in my experience is far better than gaskets, but to my surprise the oil trickled out a few months later in the same spot so it has a trickle of oil from the oil pump gasket.

Right under the drivers side seat the previous owner scrapped something which caused a crack which then rusted a 9" long hole about 1 1/2" wide which was the next thing on my list to get repaired. You don't even notice it's there and never will until you actually crawl under the vehicle, no water comes it nor air. Other then that there is not a spot of rust anywhere on the body.

The interior is in excellent condition except for the hole that always happens with 2's on the drivers seat from normal use.

The A/C was nice and cold then right before the motor issue it began to blow warm, but every now and then when I would start it and leave it would blow nice and cold again. Not sure what that is.

It had a broken e-brake cable so I replaced both rear cables but found the DR e-brake lever on the caliper sticks sometimes when you use it so I tend to stay away from it. Once again I haven't had time to simply grease the lever to resolve the issue.

The body is almost in perfect condition there is a slight scrap near the DR and PR fender and there is a slight dip on the roof where someone leaned on it to hard and of course the paint is faded in spots.

The sunroof has no leaks and is in perfect condition.

It has Tom's CR7 rims 16x7 and 16x8 on the rears with brand new Perellis on the front and brand new BF Goodrich t-post on the rears.

It has oem fog lights with switch and oem 94+ tail lights along with a short throw shifter all installed about 4 months ago.

It has Clarion 6 1/2 with built in crossovers in the doors and a Sony Cd player. I had a 4 channel amp pushing them which I sold so I left all the wiring there behind the seat taped for a really easy installation of another amp.

I think that is about everything i can possibly think of.

As stated I'm asking $6000 for this low mileage 2 local buyers only I will not be able to ship.

I took her for a small cruise today and she is doing a whole lot better since the ignition upgrades. Idle is still a little jumpy under 1000rpms. Can't seem to locate the cause as of that yet.

Oh BTW when I started it 3 times yesterday and on the small cruise the AC was nice and cold...

Thought I would add that this is a stock Turbo not a conversion with the sunroof option...which is rare

i am. already started working on it. i will post up new thread on this project in a few days or weeks. depend on how much i have done to it. right now i am only working on the engine. soon, the bodywork.

thanks alot. i'll keep that in mind. most likely will be needing a ems powered intercooler. maybe 2 or 3. we had one of you guy came down from austin to our meet. he was driving his new black 95 turbo mr2. first time i see a 95. and it was really nice.
