1991 Turbo & 1992 NA converted to Turbo - Projects
Vehicle Location: Conroe TX
Vehicle Price: 4000 for everything
Vehicle Odometer: 120,xxx and ???

Here is a link to all the pictures I have of the cars Pictures

Basically I have one shell that is in good condition and one that is not in the best condition but would be perfect for a TRD Widebody kit. Included is a fully built Gen 2 3sgte complete with JE Pistons, Eagle H-Beam rods, Manley Racing valves, mildly ported head, balanced crank, and machine work from Grigg's Racing Engines. Very expensive but well worth the quality of work (Zero miles on the engine since rebuild). It also comes with a Gen3 engine (disassembled due to blown piston). The engine comes with everything but the turbo. The transmission has been converted to work with a Gen2 manual speedo for the 91 car. I have a Bomex replica front bumper and a set of 93 rims. Both shells are complete in the fact that all they need is to have an engine dropped in to get them to run. I have pretty much everything you would need to get them both running except for turbo for both and also one transmission. The 1991 car has a custom intercooler (probably the biggest side mount ever made, see pics) with custom piping. The intercooler was made by Speed Fetish Performance. Everything is also located at the shop. Both cars have clean titles, one is a clean Texas title and the other is a clean Kansas title. I have both in my possession.

Summing things up, this was a project I was working on before I moved to Fort Worth. Obviously I do not have time to finish it since I live 4 hours away. I need to sell them asap since weather is taking it's tole on them. I have around 15000 (around 4000 in the engine alone) spent on everything that I am selling and am willing to let everything go for 4000 OBO. I will not part anything out and prefer not to sell anything separately since I'm not there to do any of the work. I will also consider trades. Buyer will be responsible for transport.

Everything still for sale. I'm willing to sell the 92 shell by itself. Make an offer if interested.

I might be interested if I can work out all the details of how to install the engine. The swap wouldn't be just a straight drop in, would it?

I'm not exactly sure what your plans are. If you are wanting the 92 shell and want to purchase a JDM swap from somewhere than it will pretty much drop in. It is a NA shell but it has had a 3rd gen swap put into it in the past. So the turbo spindles are installed in it. The only thing is that you will need to do the wiring.

However if you are interested in the 91 Turbo, it comes with everything you would need to get it running, plus a lot more. However, it just needs to be assembled.

I am looking into the '91 turbo. So all that would need to be done is the engine dropped in, correct? Pretty much a plug and play?

If you buy all that comes with the '91 Turbo, you will need to finish assembling the long block attach the tranny and put it in. For that price, I'll throw in all the parts I have so you should have more than enough to complete the job.
