91 turbo. leaking hg. mechanic's special.
Vehicle Location: Athens, GA
Vehicle Price: 3300
Vehicle Odometer: 135K

1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo (original, not a swap)
135K on odometer (maybe close to 160K on body)
t-tops with new lining, so no leakage.

Cosmetic:
stock rims with less than 1500 miles on them. car is painted purple. door jams are painted but frunk and engine bay is still red. ashtray and door handle trim is missing. driver seat has a tear in it ( see pics below) interior is black. passenger fender has some dents in it (see pics below). paint is decent.

Engine:
The PO rebuilt the motor about 2 years ago with stock OEM materials. When he did the swap the odometer was not working so the exact mileage since built is not know but is estimated to be around 25-30K. I have replaced the speed sensor and the speedometer is now functioning. There are no modifications at all to this engine.

The problem that i have been dealing with this car is that is keeps on overheating. it started about 2-3 months ago. I have bled the cooling system many times and replaced the thermostat but did'nt get the problem solved. took it to dealership and a local shop and both said that my headgasket is leaking or either the head studs are not torqued to spec. it is not crack but just leaking so when driven long or boosting, the head will begin to expand and coolant will escape. however, the car is still driviable without hitting boost. This is too much for me and thus is the reason why i must sell it since i'm not mechanically inclined to fix engine work.

no ac or cruise control but everything else works.

Extra:
car has boost/afm gauge, magnaflow exhaust, and drill slotted rotors.

Again, car is drivable. i bought it earlier this year in hopes of fixing this but the cost of fixing is too much than what i can afford. i purchased it for 3700 earlier this year but will take a loss on it. this does not include the thing that i have purchased for the car since purchase, which includes oem 93+ lip,new starter, batter, spark plug, wire, cap, rotor, and igntion coil.

I will take 3300 for this car as is.
i can be reach via pm or 678-227-3879.

thanks
Tou
