Known Issues:
Break system needs to be replaced -- Fixed. A brake fluid flush cleared up the problem I was having with the brakes slowly applying themselves.
Driver side inner tie rod needs to be replaced -- Fixed. Steering is much tighter now.
Rear tires need to be replaced -- Fixed. New rear tires and alignment were done prior to inspection.
Power Steering not working
Radio antenna doesn’t retract
Some rust under drivers side door
Driver side power door lock button works intermittently

This is a good little car. I am the second owner of the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle in 1995. When I bought it, the car had 27K miles. It is being used as a daily driver. The car just passed Virginia inspection in July, 2009 after getting the first 3 known issues listed above fixed. The engine oil has been changed every 3000 miles, and the engine runs great.

Ok, I flushed the break system based on a recommendation, and the problem with the brakes is resolved. I've driven the car over 500 miles since the brake flush and I have not had the problem reappear. I also got the front drivers side inner tie rod end fixed, got new rear tires, got the whells aligned, and the car passed Virginia inspection in July 2009. Because of the work that has been put into the car, I'm raising the price to $3900 OBO. The other issues listed in the first post still exist, but I consider these relatively minor. I am currently using the MR2 as my daily commuter.
