Ready for your own modifications such as a jet engine or turbo swap and paint job! It would work great for a daily driver or project car!
The Good:
Mostly stock. Runs and drives great. Gets great mileage depending on your driving style! Super fun to drive. Regular oil changes. New battery.
Never been in a wreck-(except for hitting a poor jackrabbit in Arizona) Clean title. I love this car and treat it as well as possible considering I have no money to put into it for mods or improvements.
Dependable daily runner. Drives straight. Fast for a non turbo.
Since I have owned it I have had a major tune, new wires, plugs, replaced the alternator, battery, used chevron gas, castrol or penzoil high mileage oil changes every 3000 miles. I also replaced the rear tires and had a computer alignment. I have some of the receipts.
Auto windows, auto mirror adjustment, alarm, auto locks.

The Bad:
176000+ miles! (still runs great!)
AC is barely cool. Could just need recharge.
T-tops over the passenger has a MINOR drip leak on the corner. (Car has been kept dry and in a garage! )
Drivers cloth seat has wear and looks ugly. Seat covers would fix the ugliness. This is a very common problem with this vintage.
Minor dings. Needs a paint job. Has never been repainted-It lived in Arizona for 5 years and the paint got fried.
Air bag light is lit. I have been too lazy to get it checked out by toyota. I heard from someone that the airbags on toyotoa mr2s from 1990-91 were recalled..
Could use a detail. Front bumper needs some TLC. Look at photos. (hit a poor rabbit in Arizona!)
Drivers side speaker has a loose connection. I can point out where. It is a simple fix that anyone with a saudering (spelling?) iron and a steady hand can do.
AM/FM radio works. CD/tape player have never worked since I have owned the car. Antenna is broken towards the top. Still gets good reception.
Sometimes blows a itsy bitsy tiny bit of smoke at first startup of the day or the first start up of the week. It goes away way fast.
