MK2 for MK1 trade

Hello,

I have a 1991 mk2 mr2 t tops non turbo with 200xxx miles on it. I'm looking to trade down to an mk1, the only thing is my car isn't running. Motor is strong and fine, it needs a new starter, maybe plugs and plug wires or some fuses. I don't know exactly what's wrong but I'm sure somebody who knows the mr2 well could fix it in less than a week and less than $100-$200.

I'm looking for a clean trade, kbb for my car should be higher than an mk1, but given it's condition i'm willing to trade pinks for pinks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get into an mk2.

Here's a video of my car with the probems:

Alternatively, if no one wants to trade I'll atempt to fix it myself so if anyone has ideas about what's wrong and how to fix it, feel free to post. Now I know the starter is bad, but I don't think that's all of it. oh, one more thing, it's salvaged, it had a little collision on the front left end before I bought it.

If you want, I can post some more pics and close ups etc.

If you're looking to trade please post pics, it makes everything more fun

p.s. that ugly yellow isn't in the interior anymore, i redid it blue/white

Sounds like blown headgasket, you would need to rebuild or install new engine..... However you car looks clean from the outside so if someone wanted to install a 3s-gte into a mk2 and had a mk1 it wouldnt be a bad trade perhaps.

Good luck with trade.

blown head gasket? people have told me that before, but I checked the oil and it doesn't look like any water or coolant mixed in there. Is it possible I blew the gasket and the oil still looks normal?

I really just need a job so I can afford some parts, and I've been so long w/o a running car it's getting depressing lol

btw to everyone else, ANY info on how to repair my car is greatly appreciated

Thanks
