ECU or EFI???

Help!!!
I have an 87 MR@ that is getting no power to the fuel pump.
Have checked the EFI and FI relays and open circuit relay. All good.
The manual says check to see if you have power on the F2 wire on the open circuit relay.
I don't... and it doesn't say what to check if you don't.
Is the EFI bad or is the ECU not sending signal???
How would I check either of these???

Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated!

I used a wire to jump the open circuit relay which put power to the fuel pump but it still will not crank. (not getting fuel)

check your fuel filter too.... i've recently had one of my mr2's not even start because of a really dirty fuel filter.

With the key on turn the AFM door by hand and see if the pump comes on, it could be a vacuum leak before the AFM. On the NA MK1 the fuel pump relay is powered by the movement of the AFM door.
