I found a site that has Smoke Corner lenses and what appears to be Blacked out tail lights, but the tail lights look similar to what you guys already have posted. See what you think.

You have to bend them in slightly with a hammer. The bigger the hammer, the better. You don't have to wail on it or anything like that. A couple of taps on each side with a sledge hammer will do the trick. I hold the hammer very close to the head, and tap it from 3 or 4 inches away. It literally takes less than 20 seconds to do (with a big hammer). If you use a dinky hammer, you have to put more effort into bending those in. The key here is to not over-do it. They only have to go in a 1/4 to 1/2 inch from what I recall.

The guy that installed the lights on my shell did an absolutely disgusting hack-up job of cutting the panel out. I'll be re-cutting it to clean it up. Unfortunately, I'd rather it not be cut at all.

The actual logo fits on the rear panel with 2 screws, and it's relatively thin, you could mount it anywhere...grill whatever.

Yes 94+ fits 91-91. Insturctions are listed just a few post above.

Has anybody ever gotten a pair of those LED tail lights. $2000 for the conversion. That doesn't even include the taillights itself. So it's like $2500 for lights and to convert it. That's money better spent on the motor.

Anyone have them? I also love the LED lights, however i will not be buying any of those unless I win the lottery sometime soon.

The Altezza lights require the center panel... right? Anyone know of a place to just get the center panel with the reverse lights and everything else needed?

You can get the centre panels from a lot of suppliers, plain, CF, with or without keylock hole etc., but the reverse lights from Toyota cost an arm and a leg.

From what the website says, you don't need to send them a core. The 2G's would cover it... But bump for that question b/c if I get my MR2 next week as I hope, those tails will be in my garage by the end of the year god willing

Edit: Read the site again... You do have to send in a core. Still want the tails, but that'll have to wait until stage 2 of what I want to do, probably this time next year

What tails for 2k are you talking about? You're honestly thinking about spending that much on tails? I hope they arent the LED ones made by clearcorners because from all that I have heard they make total junk.

Yes, its the ones made my Clearcorners. They basically took the 94+ Tails and installed LED's into them and slapped a fat price tag on them.

I've never heard anything bad about the quality of them and from the pictures I've seen, I'm very interested. I think they do more for modernizing the look of a 15 year old car than HID rev6 headlights which aren't that far off in price IIRC.

If you remember where you heard a bad review of their stuff, could you link me?

make your own LED lights, but be sure to practice first!!! any light will work to practice on. Or you could buy drop in LED's with like 24 leds? they also have ones that spring out when you put them in with either 3 or 5 bars (like a starfish). Or you could do it all, for under 2k, prob under $200

If I ever do the 94 conversion that would require denting in the body, I will definitely be replacing the bulb assembly with led's so I dont have to beat in the pannel.

Pics of the black altezza's with the lenses tinted a bit.
They are still very bright.
