Whell
There are several shades of paint availeble.
Try looking at the tamyia paint for modelling. Thay have som pretty red transparent once.
Don't know if it will be amber enough with a amber light bulb. But I would like to try.
I'm thinking about ordering, but I am a bit sceptical because there is a lot of money wasted if it doesn't work out, or don't become good looking enough.
And then there is also the difficult prosses of swapping the lens with the amber one.

But all in all, if you can match the shade of red, so it looks like an original red product I want to try.If the light is amber enough doesn't matter to me. As long as it looks like an orginal red lens I'm sattisfied. As I have A spare set of tail lights, I will mount these if The fuzz pulls me over and complains about the "not amber enough" light. In Norway they will only give you a warning, and a instruction to apear on a technical controll, to se that the light has been fixed.
Swapping tail lights is not a problem.
The main consern is if it looks good enough. I.e if it looks like an original lens, in red color instead of amber. And of course the prosses of mouting it without destroing the tail light itself.

In principle, I see no problem doing the same with red on the rear lens as well, but it does add yet another stage to the process - I'd still mave to mask and smoke tint the edges.

HOWEVER....as far as I'm aware, there is only one colour red of this product I can find in the U.K. You can adjust the shade by the number and weight of coats you apply, but you can't alter the hue. I have some reservations as to whether if even if you get the right shade, would it still view as amber enough with the bulb on?

Just curios.

What is the difference between the Kouki Tail lights, and the standard US 94+ version, exept for the " not lit up" orange triangle corner in the kouki version?
Are the kouki the same as standard 94+ Japanese version?

ok. Nothing differtnt about the bulb holders og or bulbs? They use the same kind of bulbs in Japan?
And my old Bulb holder will fit directly inn the new tail light, in both US and Japanese version of the tail light?

Also, can anybody here tell me what kind of light bulbs that sit in the red corners in the us version? I know it is a 5w bulb, but is it the small one, or is it the large type? Is it possible to replace it with a 21w bulb?

Just considering different options to make the car road legal in my country.

Problem is that I want double parking and braking lights, as in the early mr2s in the US. But I also need a rear fog light, and that has to be the same strenght as the braking lights, 21w.

So I thought I might could use the side corner lights instead, as these are not in use on me car.

Because I think it would look like S**T

No drilling and aftermarket pieces for me. I never use the Rear fog lights anyway. I just need them to make the car road legal.
