What if I want to put the 95 tail lights with the 91 center piece with a reverse light built into the center piece? Has that been done is it possible for me to make that happen?

Probably the easiest way would be to first buy 94+ tails, sans the center section and mod your 91-93 center piece to work with the 94+ taillights.

Once that's done and they fit right, the easiest way to get reverse lights would be to do Ben's Illuminated Rear Name Plate. Hook it up to the reverse lights, so it lights up clear/white when you engage reverse.

you can try it, but no way are you going to be able to put in the stock harness bulb behind the 91 center nor the 94 behind that center panel you would have to buy small LED bulb/kit and splice some wires probably drill some holes too in order to get that reverse light onto the center panel. But of course Ben's Would be the easiest and cleanest way =P

ThAt's a great idea you guys! I have someone getting me the tail lights I just don't know how to get Ben's center lights! How much do they charge? And I heard there are no more left is that true?

Well, they are discontinued, so it will likely have to be used. David Hawkins @ TwosRUs had the last few new sets, but I believe he sold them a long time ago.

i know alot of guys don't like to use ebay but there was a set of REV6 rear tail lights on there if you're still looking you might want to try there. good luck!

I have this set up with ben's illuminated name plate. I just set it up last night. The white is not that bright though so wouldn't do much as a reverse light. i've got pics of it red when tail lights are on, and white when in reverse. hope that helps!

Find them?..........I made them - I am the Lensmeister

I make exact copies of the original lenses and then tint spray the INSIDE which gives a nice high gloss scratch proof outer. Using this method, you can also easily achieve the tint level you want rather than trying to tint the plastic.

However, they only fit the JDM side pieces - the USDM flat side repeater lenses are a slightly different size/shape. I am looking into making clear flat USDM lenses - see my thread here....

Damn I wanted to be the first! All I need now is some 94+ lights to go with the center. Oh well at least I know that I'll be one of the very few with that set up.

haha woo first! =P don't worry i live in australia so it's unlikely that anyone that sees yours in person will have seen it before. you can be the first in the northern hemisphere. =)

Unfortunitly, I can't install the kit until I come home from Afghanistan in November. I will install the kit and post pictures on this thread as well as some youtube vids. I bought practicly everything they had for the MR2.

My kit includes:
-Rear Tail Lights
-Center Panel w/ LED reverse lights
-US-spec Red AND J-spec Amber LED Rear Side-Markers (couldnt decide which ones I wanted, so I bought both and will sell the set I don't use to anyone who wants them... at a discount of course!)

Wow how much did it all come up to? I was gonna do that but I settled. The owner told me they get a lot of orders but never see any pics on the net!
