I had a MV Agusta F4 S 1+1 - Gorgeous but SOOO uncomfortable - but you can get a used one with low miles for $12k-ish. I sold it cuz I loved to LOOK at it but I hated to ride it. My girlfriend wouldn't ride it either.

It handled AWESOME - worlds better than any of my other bikes!!! But it was an '02 so it was fast for it's time, but the newer 750's and 1000's are faster. My '08 R1 is WAAAYYY faster, but (at the time) I was the only one in Tulsa who had an MV so I kind of miss it still... but I sat on new one the other day and remembered why I sold mine.

Exactly why I love my Buell. It's plenty fast for ME and it's comfortable. Yea, it's not the fastest bike in the world, but it sure is different. And I like that.

On subject, I'd buy a 997.
