air bag light?

My Mr2 came with an aftermarket steering wheel, and that stinking airbag light is on. Anyone figured out how to turn that off?

The car came with the original steering wheel with the air bag intact. If it's too hard I can just put the old wheel back on. I think it looks better than that one I currently have..

If you put the steering wheel back on. to clear the light do this method: scroll down to the page that says AB-31, on the top right hand corner.

What the deuce is the body ground?

Is that basically jumping the two connections tc and ab?

My air bag light has been on for a while too and I'm getting tired of it. I'm powering my ems boostgauge off the 12v supply for the hazards and that's what set it off.

Yeah looks like you are just shorting it out. If I put the airbag back on after that will it even go off in an accident?

I wouldn't see why not, long as the sensors are good.
