Running rich and loping.

I've got a 91 turbo. I recently installed a 3" DP and catback. The car has no catalytic converters on it. It ran fine for a couple weeks. Then we got heavy rain and I was driving in it (I don't know if this means anything btw). No everytime I start the car it runs really rich and will buck badly if it's not semi warm before I drive it. When the car is warm it still lopes at idle (about 800-1000 rpm).

Any suggestions on what might be causing this? I was thinking some leak or O2 sensor myself. Thanks.

Sounds like it might be a coolant temp sensor

It runs bad when warm too? You think so?

That and I'm not getting any codes that I know of.

800-1000 at idle is about right. The reason I think coolant temp sensor is because you say it runs rough and rich when cold. The coolant temp sensor does play part in how much fuel is used when warming up.

The loping still happens when the car is warm too.

So, what maps a car run rich? The water temp sensor, a dirty MAF... what else?

start your car, let it run rich and warm up and lope......unplug your Throttle position sensor, if the engine doesnt change, then the TPS is bad.

that what it seems to me is wrong.
