Choosing new wheels and need input

*EDIT*

My new wheels finally arrived and I took some quick snaps.
Specs
AME Circlar spec R
F-17x8 +35
R-17x9 +42
Falken azenis RT-615
F-225/45/17
R-275/40/17

Thanks to EL Paalo and AutoRnD for their help!

So I recently decide to buy new wheels and I narrowed it down to three that I like a lot. They are all around the same price so I can't decide and wanted to see what you guys think. They are the Gramlight 57pro, the SSR professor SP1, and the Volk GTC. I like the 57pros the best but they only come in gunmetal and gold, and I want the silver spokes with a polished lip look because my car is black. I am going to look into having them painted or powdercoated tomorrow, but I don't really want to pay a fortune. I hear the SSRs are the heaviest out of the three wheels, but by how much? And I have always loved the GTCs but my car is pretty much stock bodied, so I think these are a little too "busy" but I can't find any good pictures of mr2s with them. Anyway here is a few pictures of my car to give you guys a reference, and make sure to take into account weight, strength, and looks. Also it would be cool if someone could photoshop the wheels on my car to get a better idea. In the middle pic I didn't have the front lip on.

Here is some pictures of the wheels on the poll for anyone who needs them. I'm also completely open to suggestions of other wheels, but I am really looking for a silver 5 spoke wheel with a fat polished lip.

Gramlight 57pro
MR2OC June MR2 Of the Month

The gramlights look really silver in these pictures, if I could get them in that color it would be perfect but noooo...

SSR Professor SP1

Best Wing for mk2 MR2?

Scroll down about halfway on the 3rd page to the "red beast"

Volk GTC

94' MR2 Turbo

some crappy pictures but the only ones I could find of GTC's on an mr2.

thanks

Those seats are nice man. Personaly, i think wheels are a 100% personal decision. Whatever YOU choose will be great for YOUR car.

Sorry to get off topic, but I like your front blinkers. Where did you get them?

I've always been an SSR fan but I'm not that keen on their SP1, the 57Pro is an excellent wheel but common. I don't think the GTCs are as busy as you think they are, I used to think the same about the Volk Challenge until I actually saw them on a car. My vote is GTC.

The SSRs are a 3 piece cast wheel, so they are three piece....just heavier that the other two wheels.

Mine came in a box when I bought the car so I don't know where they came from. If your thinking about buying from Baktash he is a stand up guy so go for it.

Anyway so I called my local powder coater and he said $220 to coat all four not including stripping them. I thought that was a great price so I think I'm going for the Gramlights, but how good is the powdercoating process compared to Ray's paint? which looks better and/or is more durable, powdercoating or having them painted?

Thanks for all the input!

I'd want something less common, like the AME Circlar Spec-R.

without the sticker though

Wow I really like that AME wheel but they seem to be even more expensive than the wheels I'm looking at. I am really looking for a 17 inch wheel x8 +35 in front and x9 +42 in rear, and they don't seem to make any close offsets in those sizes(from what I could find but I'm sure I'm wrong). Thank you so much for the pictures, they were exactly what I was looking for to help judge. I went and talked to the powdercoater today and he said that since I want to keep the lip polished he probably can't do it because they dip the whole wheel to get the existing paint off and it might/will ruin the lip, so I would have to get it repolished which would be way more than I'm willing to spend. I'm going to send him some pictures and he will give me the final word, but If not I am going for the GTCs. Hey EL Paalo, do you know the weights of the gramlight and GTC offhand in 17X8 and 17X9?

Thanks a lot!

unfortunately, I don't have the weights for those offhand (or the circlar).
I wouldn't consider any of them lightweights though.

the ame is available in pretty much whatever offset you want.

I'd talk to rishie at autornd before ruling it out on price, but it probably is a bit more.

Thats alright, I'm sure they're all pretty light compared to what I have. I'll give them a call tomorrow about the AME's, the people I'm going through don't carry AME so I can't get a price from them. HAHA I was just looking at that silver mr2 when you posted, they look great I love the lip! Do you know if they come in a bright silver or just that carbon silver? I saw they had a Polished finish so I will probably go for that if not.

Thanks again man!

There's already a played out MR2 in Atlanta with GTC's. I like all of your choices. If you are interested in the Gram Lights I think Kyle was thinking about selling his. I'd let you try the GTC's on but I took them apart to get the barrels chromed.
