Found an issue with my ABS Sensor

While disassembling my rear suspension and drivetrain to replace dampers, bearings, and brakes, I noticed that the rear ABS sensor was missing it's bolt. The sensor was rusted secure in it's cylinder, but the bolt was missing and there was a rusted hole where is was supposed to go.

-Any chance this is why I'm having to replace the rear wheel bearings?
-Did the missing bolt allow debris in to harm the bearing?
-Is the ABS sensor OK? (no dash indicator lights have been on)
-Can I clean the sensor? With what product?

If it was rusted on and stuck in place well, I doubt that debris got in. So, I don't think that that is the reason you are replacing the bearings. The ABS sensor is basically a magnet so cleaning it probably just takes a rag.

This is just a guess but those are almost always M10x1.25.
