will this kind of offset fit w/o rolling the rear or front fenders?
i was thinking of purchasing 16x7 with 43 offset tires is going to be 205/45 and 16x8 with 25 offset tires is going to be 245/50 this is the only available that i can find for 16 inches. i understand that i will have to use 5mm spacers for the rear and front. my question is do i have to roll the rear fenders too?
to be honest i dont know what rolling the fenders mean? or how to even do it. if someone can help me define what it really means and how to do it will be so much help. thank you everyone in advance. one more thing. i was hearing something about hubcentric spacers? what is so special about them? im looking for some 5mm spacers right now and is there anything wrong if i dont get hubcentric spacers? just curious. one last thing before i forgot my car is lowered by sportline springs. i just want to say that if it helps. thank you again Last edited by albertgunit101; 07-29-2008 at 03:27 PM. |

Those look like 17s to me. I think you'll have more tire choices if you go with 17s. Sorry I don't have an answer to your question.

A +25 offset in 17x7 up front is flush. So, if you get anything +26 offset and up you will not have to roll. But, if you get anything +40 and up, you may hit the suspension. You have to run atleast a 45 profile tire up front, 40 works better.
Not 100% sure about the rears with those offsets. But, if you have to know about fender rolling, do a google search for "eastwood fender roller" or fender rolling Eastwood. Eastwood sells a tool you attach to your hub ( the place were your wheel mounts to the studs. IT attaches to those studs.. and.. you.. well.. you can look it up on Youtube or google and find videos of it. You can also rent them from some shops to do it yourself. |
