probably.
You can get a better idea by comparing the particular tire you're going to throw on the back vs 9.5". For instance, an re01r in 255/35 18 has a 10.3" section width (when mounted on a 9" wheel - it will actually shrink slightly mounted on a thinner wheel like yours). 10.3 - 9.5 = .8" / 2 = .4" of overhang per side of the wheel. That's approx 10mm of tire overhang per side. Even if half of that is eaten up by shrinkage due to using a smaller wheel, You're still on the verge of rubbing (1mm tuck from the outside fender edge for the tire assuming 5mm overhang). cliffs: probably, but if you're cheaping out on tires, it's more likely to fit since cheaper tires generally run skinnier.

good for you. I hate fake bolts.
![]() 17x7.5 +35 MD Disk (34mm lip) with 215/40 17 18x9.5 +43 SL Disk (72mm lip) with 255/35 18 6mm tuck up front - tire sized evenly with wheel 2mm tuck out back - slightly stretched tire caveats: I like the front slightly more tucked than the rear. I like a slightly stretched tire. |

lol, sorry.
I was looking at the ssr professor sp1 since that's what the rota d2 is a copy of ...... 17x8 +35 A Disk (flush) 60mm lip 18x9.5 +43 O Disk (2mm tuck) 83mm lip the slight tuck in back is a little insurance for no rolling. You may get by with flush in the back too since the 255 will be slightly stretched ..... just depends on how anti-roll you are. |
