PN-Req: Turbo oil return hose

Sorry Brian, don't have a VIN #.

1992 JDM 3SGTE

I used an online EPC http://www.ayrpark.plus.com/epc/mr2epc.html

I'm looking for that rubber hose that connects the oil return line from the turbo to the oil pan. The part number I found is 15491-88380. According to partznet that's a coolant line for a celica and it costs $31. This can't be right I used this site to source all my previous part #'s so I know its somewhat correct. Anyone replaced that hose before?

Here is a pic the part number you listed. It looks like it is the right thing and is listed as the turbo oil outlet. The diagram of the oil pan doesn't show the hose in question. It is not uncommon for the part number to cross-reference other vehicles. In the EPC that part number did show up for the 93 MR2 though.

well damn....$31. Guess its better than it busting and me not knowing until oil pressure=0 and the new engine is toast. It still shows as a celica coolant hose, but I guess all that material is the same.

Make sure thats a high temp high pressure hose, as a coolant hose would melt or bust under those conditions
