Is that speedometer electric or mechanical? For left or right hand drive cars?

is there a difference between usdm and jdm clusters?

That is for the JDM model, and I will get back to you on the electrical/mechanical thing.

Yep. Haven't you noticed in your Japanese car the speedo is on the left, but in your USDM car it's on the right?

German and French cars both had 260 km/h clusters without MPH markings, I believe and are designed for the LHD cluster. If anyone is interested in one of these for a LHD car, I'm sure someone could track down a P/N.

Can i assume the plastic cover is universal for both LHD and RHD clusters?

I take that back! I had a total mindblank there, the plastic cluster covers will not be interchangable, because the hole for the tripometer reset peg will be on the wrong side.

The USDM part number for the plastic gauge cover is: 83138-17050
