WTB: Mk2 Oil Level Sender

Okay, so being a 3SGTE newb, I was bound to break something in the rebuild process. "Something" is the oil level sender in the oil pan. Anybody got a spare laying around they can send me? Shoot me a PM or reply to bmerton@excite.com

I may do that. I'm not in a HUGE hurry...I can use the one from the engine that's currently in the car. The one person that responded to my ad on another board was John Vick...and I'd be scared to deal with him after all the stories I've read about him. I think I'd have to level with him and tell him he'd have to send me the part, THEN I'd send money (reverse of what typcially happens), but I'd bet he'd be offended...

Thanks for the tips, guys! I've got some time, as the one that's in the engine I'm replacing is probably okay...but will need one for THAT engine, next.

I did receive one e-mail with somebody offering one, but this person has a looooong negative history with various board members, so I'm leery of doing *any* business with him (hint: or his brother).

I think I've said enough... I e-mailed him back, saying, "Thanks, but no thanks. Your reputation precedes you" and he wished me luck and handled it very well, I thought.
