WTB: Border Racing Radiator Relocation Kit
Hi,
As the title states, I am looking for an authentic border radiator relocation kit. I have checked taka kaira and have not had any luck going that route. Also if anyone has a QUALITY replica let me know. Thanks for the help in advance. |

Good luck! Border didn't have an American distributor when I lived down the road from them.

Will do.. I currently doing a little bit of testing and figuring on the best way to duct / route the air out of the car. The problem that I come up with is the typical vent hoods dont have enough area to fully vent properly... Even the border hood.. I remember years ago when I was in Japan and had visited many of the big name tuner shops there Border was one of them and I remember someone that had a setup (might have been border) that had a vent hood and had additional sheetmetal ducting to the wheel wheels (basically a V config in the Frunk with the front wall cut out..... Which this makes perfect sense too cause the wheel wells and front quarter areas are low pressure areas..

Ok, well we are deffinitly not right around the corner from eachother being that Im up in Lakeland, but still not too too far....
Anyways, I've got a lot going on and other things I need to take care of but I'll keep you updated on any progress... Im playing around with a few ideas in my head on ways to do this without and real extensive mods to the car itself.. Like I said before, just the typical vent hood is not enough venting.... If the duct was made in the Frunk, a larger vent in the hood could be made (which wouldn't be too hard or too much issue) but personally, I dont like the large hood vent, I'd prefer the it to be much smaller... |

BUMP! Just a small update for anyone looking to get the border radiator relocation kit. Get in contact with Pouya pouya@madpsi.net He can still get them via special order. Hope this helps anyone interested as it took me over a year to find a source that could get them.
