Shim under/Shimless buckets for MZ/VZ possible? - Page 2

I may have missed this but what is the advantage of shimless buckets?

almost impercievalbe reciprocating weight reduction.

the big thing is that since the shim is under the bucket, when using custom cam profiles (especially when using re-ground cams that require making up alot of distance via the shims). the aggressive cam lobe won't hit the shim ontop of the bucket & knock it off. which can happen.
so the high revving shim/bucket combo's put the shim under the bucket.

Yea toys got it pretty much....shimless is what i will be using on my higher rpm n/a builds as i will compensate for clearances issues by using longer tip valves which i have.
