1. Are you using A/C? If so, you should not be removing all of the AC wires at the ECU. (I believe it's Bk/Yel that's used for Idle Up.)
2. STP is used by the MR2, connect it on the 1MZ. 3. Put a switch on the CEL lead. The light will be on all of the time once the ECU throws the EVAP codes. 4. The Tach wire goes up to EA3 in the Relay Block connected to the black Tach wire. You need a tach adapter, a V6 tach, or a V6-modified MR2 tach. (You might have covered this in another sheet.) Just my opinions... |

1.) Don't have AC, and don't envision adding it so I removed it from the harness entirely.
2.) Thanks, I'll update my sheet tomorrow. 3.) Thanks again, a good suggestion (unless I can somehow fool the ECU eventually). 4.) I've grafted the 95 Avalon tach into my NT cluster, so I've got that covered. |

This topic is helpfull for most V-6 swappers, especially those who spoon a 1MZ in their two.
However there are guys (like myself) who are changing a 5S-FE into a 5VZ-FE. And there is no scedule altought the plugs of the ECU of both V-6 engines (1MZ and 5VZ) are thesame. So the only information I need is how to plug the engine harness on to the car and how to plug the ecu on the the car, because color and numbercodes of the harness are different. my example: 1992 MR2 body/5S engine => 1997 5VZFE (T100 A/T) who has the solution??
