I made the excel file you posted...you should use the updated version below that corrects a few errors I have found...
Here are links to updated versions of the file...If you click on any connectors it links you to the page with the details on that connector. Wiring Diagrams (Website) (it's also in my sig) Wiring Diagrams (Excel File) Enjoy! Last edited by Newbiewan; 09-25-2005 at 06:59 PM. |

The 1994 Toyota Camry Repair Manual
The wiring diagram is useful for 94-96 1mz-fe's & the repair information is good for all non vvt-i 1mz-fe's. Beware of 119meg. FYI Techinfo.Toyota.com $10 allows you to download all avalible Toyota repair documentation in .pdf form for 24 hours. |

Soap Box - Can't we all just share? Isn't that why we are here?
I thought the whole purpose of mr2board was to share info and experience about these wonderful cars?
I have no doubt that you have gained valuable information regarding your build from various members on the board Oteck...why do you think your time and effort are worth so much more than any of the other folks who have shared the results of their blood sweat and tears? I don't mean to seem like a jerk, but why refuse to share that info if you know it will help other folks out? Maybe we should all charge you before we answer any of your posts? You seem like a nice enough guy, so hopefully I have totally misundertood the purpose of you refusing to post...if so, I take it all back ![]() |

Dont attack oteck hes going through a rough time with his car...his comment is just out of anger that his car is having idle problems and bogs out....hopefully that gets worked out and i can go back there and help him out again. (with work loading up i hope i can do it)
He has done alot to help people here so dont be quick to judge or tell him off. He is a awsome person and very helpful when in need. I am sure if you asked him for some info on aim he will be there to help. Some authors are very protective of thier stuff. Meh /rant I am going to post some 5vz swap stuff once i get my car runnign perfectly (so i know i got the right wires )

I think I'm just going to have to print out all the info at scool... then scan them in at my house... the school has some sort of "security" thing that won't allow the sort of good deed I'm trying to do.
I'll have some on their way shortly. |

5S-FE => 5VZ-FE ....Anyone??
As you guys know I was busy with this swap, and it is almost done , but the big question is the wiring from the car to the ECU, and from the engine to the body (fusebox) . Does anyone of you guys has a small schedule "how to" ??
The car/body is a '91 5S-FE the engine is a '97 5VZ-FE, totally different, tuckily I have the origianl ECU, the only (little) problem is that it was originally build as an A/T so there are a lot of connectors that couldn't be used....but which one?? Who can help me, I know there are some guys who did this swap before..... John / Tettjetwo |
