No OEM products, in the USA anyway. Japanparts did sell some that covered the ends, but the couple of people I know that have them almost never use them do to the trouble to put on/take off. Now if you keep your top down for extended times YMMV.

The top was designed to fold down in a way that it makes its own cover (vs. the older miata's method) so it's not likely that many will make such a thing. The end pieces mentioned just give it a finished look. I wanted a set until I read lbridges post - sounds like something I would do.
There is a hard cover however I recall seeing that sat atop that area, one style is like on this yellow one from Carson's site: I had seen a few variations of this from a few years ago but dunno about sourcing. |

Here's the Japanparts info for the product I was writing about, it's just two vinyl end covers (pic included).
Item No.: 014-103-017 Price: JP ¥20,800.00 US $214.71 Delivery time by air: 10-15 days I don't think the hard covers (pic from supunna picta) are in production anymore, but the Carson's site says, "** Optional Rear wing, hood, tonneu cover and tail cover are available **", so maybe they are. One would have to call Carson's (and ask for Steve IIRC). Or one could always e-mail Graham Ware (of Japanparts) and ask. If he can't find it then I think it would require someone to physically go there and do some searching. |
