My Google Map

jhauschild did your scanning software show up? Are you just interfacing with an OBDII connector to a PC? Did you decide on an option for piggyback/ecu replacment?

I am looking at getting the Camcon for adjusting the timing and afr as it is the least expensive option with more accessible tuning for shops as opposed to the Unichip. It seems to be the best solution for bolt on mods.

After that you are looking at PFC and other replacement ecu types which are far more expensive but more capable of handling FI mods.

The scanning software and connections are here and work great. I haven't pursued tunning software any further, yet. Thanks to the software and my voltage tester, I got to bottom of the O2 sensor issues I haad. One of the brand new sensors was junk. yanked out both of them and went out, bought Bosch. Should have done that in the first place.
I did a small bit bit of IAT testing with the software and the 16" fan I put in. Nothing in depth, though. After turning the fan on, the temp dropped 3 degrees over a 2 minute period. At a stand still. I'll probably do a better test this weekend. I'll even try it with the fan blowing up to the trunk lid and down. Worried about all that heat on the trunk lid though.....
