Replacement tires

I am considering upgrading my 2001 to 16x7 rims and 215/40/16 tires on front and 225/40/16 on rear. Do you forsee any problems? Will these tires fit on 16x7 rims?

My Google Map

Need one more number for the rims: offset. That's the important one to list. Also, is your car lowered? 42mm offset is fine with those tire sizes, even on a lowered car (TRD Sportivo lowered, not slammed)

either way, 16x7 is fine with those tire widths.

I am also a MR2 Spyder owner and would like to get an 17". A buddy of mine has a set of 17"x7 Rims with 205/40/17 front and 215/45/17 rear, +45 offset all around willing to sell.

I am not lowered at the moment but will get a set of Tein springs soon.
I am wondering if that's gonna rub

Thanks for your respond.

Felix
