Lambda/o2 sensors

Hi All,

This is my first post and im not really very technical when it comes to cars/engines etc.

Ive had a MR2 Roadster for about 10 month now, and I love the car. Very recently my ECU lights have came on, I have no VSC or traction control.
I took it to a garage and they checked the car and said it was fine and turned the light off.
With in 20 mins it was back on. The told me that they need to change a Lambda sensor, when I took it to get the sensor I was told it was because the owner before me had changed the exhaust system and that was causing the fault. The exhaust is a twin TTE. The garage suggestion was to put the original exhaust back on (not happening!!!)

Any suggestions or anyone else experienced similar problems?

Thanks in advance
Dave

O2 Sensors

Because the Car has been modified, it will require a 'Wrench' to keep up with it. If you are up to the challenge, then leave the existing pipe and fix it. Else, change to the 'Factory Pipe'..
Need to have the actual code read from the ECU to be able to figure out what the ECU is Complaining about..

Or if the hardware was installed properly, it could be that the 'Single' O2 sensor needs to be replaced.. If you are up to it.. try it..
