not really dumb but wishful thinking lotus ever did anything for the mr2 platform.

i was also going off of "not 100%" facts.....just things ive heard. you can call me dumb all you want but i was just putting my 2 cents in. honestly to me, i think purchasing a mk3 is dumb....so lets try to keep the negativity out of it. if you can correct some one, good, just dont be a **** about it.

My only real world comparison was in a 2zz equipped Spyder which was the same as a 1zz until lift. I have a hard time believing your brother.

anyone ever twin turboed the 2zz or the 1zz? wondering if theres alot of mods needed to be done to fit and any specs on boosting them would be awesome

ive seen a couple of the mk1 wit 3sgte motors in it.

I love that last ur dumb part : ) I have heard of self made 3ZZ back in the day with a 1ZZ crank in a 2ZZ. It makes it a 2 liter. It is the 2.0 liter celica in gran turismo 4. If the 1ZZ was better lotus would use it. No GT beats a GTS unless the driver is a tard with nothing done and paddle shifter with he GT being a modded stick and better at driving. But then again how many ppl talk nonsense? I raced and killed so many ppl that swear they have beet tons of MR2 turbos lol.

exclude the turbo mrs.
notice the elise torque curve vs 1zz mrs
and remember that elise has a different ECU/tuned compared to toyotas.

with this one notice more hp throughout compared to 2zz until the 2zz hits lift.
