FS: RARE TRD HID Lighting Kit
Item Location: British Columbia I purchased this rare TRD HID kit from eBay quite some time ago. I had planned on using it on my MKII, but didn't bother retrofitting it to make it work. The kit is for a HB4 bulb type, which I believe to be the same as a 9006. The kit is lacking the HID bulbs, but you can find HID-D2R that will fit nearly anywhere. I have never installed the kit, but I have been told it is in good working condition, and there will be no issues with it. The Sylvania website lists the MKIII as a 9006 bulb in the foglamps so these would look great there (H7 in the headlight- it might work there too).
Please contact me at canadam {at} mr2board {dott] com for pictures of the actual parts if you are seriously interested. For now, below is the information from the TRD website. I've included the Google translated Engrish ![]() TRD HID Head Lamp Kit Part Number: 81001-SP000 Retail Price: 89,000Yen (approx. $760+USD) ![]() ![]() ![]() H.I.D. headlight kit
Given that this kit is Geunine TRD, used and the retail price is near $800USD, I will start my asking price at $450USD obo, but am very motivated to sell. If you think that your offer might be a little low, don't risk insulting me These TRD parts are hard to find, and everyone here knows that TRD quality and exclusivity come at a price ![]()

hid install
its very straight forward you simply have to screw in the ballast's with some self tapping screw where the spare wheel is and after that its just plug and play. with some other kits you will lose the high beam light in the dash but you can make a diy fix that ive seen on another forum.

Remember, this kit is for 9006 bulbs (lowbeam only), not the MR2 type.
