Bigger Brakes

Ok so I have seen the great write up on redrilling SW20 rotors and fitting them to the AW11 but here is a quick question that I can't find anything about, our hub pattern is 4X100 well so is a honda/nissan fwd(some) and they make crazy amount of brake upgrades bigger rotors and larger calipers, I am not saying this is a great idea just wondering if anyone has tried it.

And yes I am unsure about putting honda stuff on the AW11...lol.....but again it was just a thought

The backspacing on the rotors will be the problem. Honda rotors sit differently in relation to the hub and caliper. I've tried a few choices, and while I could get them over the studs, they either wouldn't go over the hub (and wouldn't line up right anyway without spacing caliper or rotor) or the rotor was way out of any area that would work. Also, mounting calipers and making brakets is tough since they are under so much force and have to be built extremely well. I gave a writeup to Steve@MR2only in a thread in the general MK1 area that had a summary of Paul Wood's brake adventures. Check it out if you're interested.

when i picked up my slotted rear rotors (that didnt fit anyway) the guy the reason he didnt need them was because he had done a skyline (type m) upgrade like the 200sx's(240sx) do all the time. couldnt get too much info on it though
