Do mk1's need the same offset in the rear and front? How will these line up on the mk1? Need rolled fenders or fit perfect? Knowing you Paalo it fits perfect.

That looks wicked, I personally wouldn't have done gold for most colours of cars, but the refinishing job looks great.

How easy did the wheels come apart ?

shouldn't be tough to take apart although some manufacturers use proprietary bolt heads ........ does rays? did you get a torque spec for when you put them back together? are you refurbing the hardware too or replacing?

Thank you. My AW11 is black with a gold stripe around the half of the door:

...so I think the gold is about the best look. The wheels came apart very easily.

These wheels have 8mm 12 point chrome plated bolts that were very easy to remove. The bolts actually say "Rays" on the heads. I will have to find out the torque before they go back on the car although it didn't seem to be very high when I was unbolting them.

I will be reusing the stock bolts because they are in really nice shape. All they need is a little bit of cleaning.

I do need to find some lugnuts and tires. I'm leaning towards some Rays lugnuts or Kyokugens. For tires I'm thinking I'll give the new Bridgestone Fuzions a shot.

Damnit, everytime I wander into this section of the forum I end up immediately going and trying to see how much I could pick a mki up for. Being broke sucks.
