I've got this intermittent issue. I've bled and bled the brakes, but thinking it could be something else. Sometimes, when I hit the brakes, the peddle will go nearly to the floor. The brakes still work, but they don't grab until the pedal is down. Most of the time braking feels normal. Any ideas? |

One of two things is going on. Either A. you're completely failing to dislodge a bunch of air in the system or B. your master cylinder is failing.
When you put step on the pedal do you feel pressure then it bleeds down? |

Pressure doesn't bleed down, rather seems to be perfect, or crap. One additional pump always brings it back to normal pressure. I'm not completely confident in the bleeding job and was considering going over it again. Good thing the most recent addition happened to have a master cylinder rebuild kit in the frunk -- LOL -- Thank you for the reply!

What order are you bleeding the brakes in and which side of the engine bay is the MC mounted?
If a second pump is bring it back to seemingly normal pressure that points towards master cylinder. |
