He called everyone on Monday, and anyone that didn't pick up he said he left a voice message. So yah, ofcourse this is happening. I already placed my order on Friday. You need to give him a ring back if your still in on this. I'm sure he will try you again in a few days.

Coilovers

I saw this thread and i am very interested, but I don't know the details, ie; how much and what the actual product is. I live in Sydney and have an AW11 SC and am interested in suspension upgrades. I am new to this forum and new to forums in general so please forgive any lack of technical understanding of the whole forum thing. So, could someone please explain this deal to me and is it too late to jump in?

Cheers
Shannon

Hey Shannon, there is definately room for 2 people. From what I was told a few turned out to be flakes or atleast never called my friend back. I feel bad since he purchased the material going into this thinking that everyone would be on board as soon as he called, but unfortunately that was not the case. I should have known better to have told him that everyone that PM'd me would actually follow through. So yah, he can definately add ya if your interested and I know he ships to Australia. I'll PM you the details and if you want to jump on board just reply back with your name and contact number and I'll gladly forward it to him.

Uh oh... I hope I'm not one of those "flakes." I didn't check my messages until a week later after he left 3 of them, but I called him back and left a message on Fri. I'll try him again tomorrow just in case... Thanks for the heads up AW11man.

He is pretty good at his communication and I am not surprised that he left you 3 messages. As I said before he has contacted everyone and left messages for those who he was unable to talk to directly.

I know your in for sure, you have made that pretty clear from the start, and you have been easy to communicate with. There were just a few that have not called back, but that is okay since I believe Capt.Evergreen has picked up the slack and I think he has enough material to make 2 more sets. He said that if no one fills in those slots he will just use the raw material and use it to make another coilover system since he has quite a few on order. But he stated that he purchased the material to use on the batch of MR2coilovers and he likes to keep his word, and he told me he would make a batch for me and whoever else that wanted to join in. He doesn't mind hooking me up he said, and that is the only reason why he is keeping the raw material on the side for this project for me since I was able to get a few of you guys to join me. So rather than using the material to make another coilover system he rather just see if someone will fill the spot since it's a damn good deal, and it would be convenient for him to machine them all during the same week. One of the reasons why he is able to cut me a deal, as well as let me extend the offer to a few of you.

I gave him a list of people which I believed were serious and wanted in, and before he spoke to anyone of those people on the list he had already ordered the material to get things going. I'll have to double check with him, but I am pretty sure there are enough material for 2 sets of coilovers, since 2 people didn't call back. He doesn't care if no one cares to fill in those last 2 spots since he has soo many orders right now, he can easily use the material for another project. So he isn't tripping about anyone not calling him back, but he wants to give everyone a opportunity to contact him. So I do appreciate all of you who have spoken to him and placed your order. I didn't want to look like a complete jackass since he was doing me a favor and has been real cool with the whole thing.

No problem, glad you guys got a chance to touch base. I was told you guys were playing phone tag. He is still waiting on a few people from this thread to contact him, so both our coilovers won't be started till those people give him a ring. I am excited, so get your stuff straight with him so we can get things rolling. Hope your experience with the owner was as good as mine. He's pretty chill and easy to deal with.

I got some bad news guys, someone vandilized my MR2 over the weekend, and I don't have the money to get to fixed. My set was machined and ready to go so the first set will go to JohhnyD on here. By the way, Andy has a new phone number, it's 360-727-8026 and he is about settled in his new place. I have not seen the coilovers yet, but I'm sure it turned out nice. So JohhnyD, you lucky bastard, your going to get my setup. Andy will start on the rest of the orders as soon as he gets all settled and caught up. Hopefully my friend will be able to cut me a good deal on some fixing some of the damage, but the money I got for the coilovers will most likely go to fixing the car or getting a new one.

Thanks for the measurements though Tam. I saw the drawing of the top mount he drew up based off your accurate measurments before he machined a prototype. He is out of the country, and they just got there new business line installed. 360-727-8026 That is too bad, I'll give him the news Tam, but I am sure he already knows. Also he is going through a staff change since he moved. He's always gotten back to you before, and you know he was moving bro.

With that said, if anyone wants to take Tam's spot PM me or e-mail andy cause I know he ordered the material to machine the parts and some of the parts are machined already. So waste of material in my opinion if anyone doesn't jump in on this. See ya.

I'll call him in the morning for more detail of the progress.

Seriously, I gave him my credit card number for deposit, but he didn't charge me just yet b/c he didn't want to take mine or people money and make them wait. So after a while from not hearing anything from him, I thought he had scrapped the project. So let see where this get me, I'm ready to sell my TRD springs, got it at wholesale price . Tam
