wheel size

I am looking at getting some rims for my AW11 and just wanted to know what the best size to run would be. i dont want to go any bigger than 16inch. if you advise one size over the other please incluse the tyre size as that is just as important.

thanks

i agree with the 15-16inch sizing and i know the offset whould be 38-40mm+.

the 205 40 is the main part i am interested in. do you feel every little but with that size tyre? the bloke at the tyre shop is saying the 205 45's would be best but from what i knew 40's would be better.

16 look best at a 25-30mm offset on 45 or 50 series tires.

Personally, I would go with the MR2 Spyder rims.
I just got some and they are a direct fit and look pretty nice on the MK1.
Mine are the 15", but some Spydrs are staggered with 15" in the front and 16" in the back.

I have been looking for spyder rims but they are VERY hard to find in australia. I would love the staggered setup as larger rims look good on the back but they are even harder again to find.

Well I will recomend to go with 205/45/r16 the rim 16x6.5jj if u go with the 16x7jj the rim dich will be expos to any curb and u will regrt it leter. I was runing 205/40/r17 on front and 215/40/r17 on the back the rims wore 17x7jj it look rlly nice but I heted to ober bumps it hurt some people hve gone with 18's but I will not ricomened is gust plane stuped. if u whan to gave some fun use falken tiyers but if whan to have tones of greep us BF-goodrich and don't try to sild ur car becuse u will regrat it leter
