Suspension Upgrade

Well as soon as work starts up for me again (construction job) im going to start saving up money and figured the first thing to really do other then some body work is to upgrade the suspension since its an old car and i have no idea what the previous owner did.

Has anyone ever gotten the MKI MR2 Suspension Overhaul Package - Twos R Us
?

i know its alot of money espically if i decide to upgrade the springs and upgrade to a set of Koni (which i prob wouldnt do).

the whole kit includes:
Ball Joint/Tie Rod combo pack, Prothane Urethane bushing set, a complete set of KYB GR-2 Strut inserts with 4 new KYB strut boots, new front and rear High and Tight End Links, Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit and a new pair of rear tie rods.

or could i find most of these at a cheaper price?

Eh..they are making at big margin on those parts. Kit can be pieced together alot cheaper.

I purchased the Ball Joint/Tie Rod combo pack on ebay for $90, Prothane Urethane bushing set on ebay for $85. Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Line Kit only run for 125. the price on twos R us is a little stiff but if you think about it i believe there somewhat responsible for having this great site (I am not 100% sure but i think some of that money goes into this website?)please correct me if i am wrong!

That kit on two's r us isn't an upgrade though, it's mainly to freshen it up, and only gives a small performance upgrade.

freshen it up would have been a better way of putting it.. i have an 87 and dont know when the last time all the suspension components have been replaced so i just want to do them.

i think ill end up getting the ball joint/tie rod combo from ebay along with the bushings.

i was thinking of getting the Rear Tie Rod Pair from twos r us since the rears of mine may look alittle bent. would it be a good idea to get these or just pick up stock replacements for the whole rear tie rod?
