RDS - Did you have any problems with the 16x7 wheels clearing the wheel arches or rubbing the suspension/struts on the rear? |

Very nice darkducati. 16's in the rear?
Here is what I'm going with; 2003 OEM Spyder rims - 16's in the rear and 15 up front ![]() The rears cost be $180 for the pair, shipped! They are in good condition with no curb rash. They have a few scratches on them but nothing that can't be polished out ![]() The fronts are near mint condition and I bought them from a guy locally for $100 (for the pair!) ![]() It took a couple of months to find them but it was well worth the wait. I just need to get my car running now. I'll add some pics when they are mounted. |

Very nice DoriDori. 16's are about as big as I would go on out MK1's. Anything bigger doesn't look right.
I love the Vermont license plate, very clean and simple looking. |

In Texas, we're required to have front plates too. In addition, our plates have to look like a work of art! I hate them...
I'm putting 2005 MR2 rims ony my car. The rears are 16x7, fronts are 15x6. Here's a couple of pics of the front without tires mounted yet. I have Hankook RS2 going on there soon though. ![]() ![]() |

My parts car (still complete at this point) is the same color two tone gray, but mine looks no where near as nice as yours.
I love the first set of rims on your car. |

Toyota tech, is there a write up about that wing mod? I'm thinking about moving mine back like that but I'm not completely sure on how to go about doing it.

yeah, do a search on Plumley wing mod or spoiler mod. it was originally done by my buddies Deno Plumley and his dad Bruce. I've done several of them and have a new-new and improved designed that i've come-up with on my own. people used to do them and sell them. i think i've made and sold 3 to date.

Rota auto x. Sorry for the crappy pics. The iphone camera is balls. They are super light weight and might look good on the other mk1.
