kw coilovers

I personally prefer the KSport coilovers. But I'm biased since that's all we use: Suspension : EMSPowered, High Quality, Great Service, Low Prices

K-Sports are probably fine for driving around.. maybe.

for track or competition use KW is the bottom of the line that I'd consider

mostly street car maybe autocross here and there but mostly for the street

K-Sport outta be fine then. If you get serious about competition you'll probably want to upgrade though

I have the KW's on my MKII and they are a dream. Very stiff and verrrrrrry little roll

depends on your budget, aaannnd I'm not 100% sure what all high end stuff is out there for the Mk1. I can tell you for myself I am going the route of having the stock strut tubes modified to accept a customizeable Koni strut insert and then add generic coilover sleeves and fairly high rate springs around that package. KW would be my far distant choice, mostly because I am not confident they will handle the spring rate I would want to toss at them and there is little info out there about having them revalved to handle higher rates

These KW's are pretty damn hard, i can't say ive used a huge variety of suspension combos, but they seem firm enough for agressive road driving or some auto-x. Sometime i'll try to get a video up

yeah theres really only a couple of compaines that make coils for the mk 1.
