I personally prefer the KSport coilovers. But I'm biased since that's all we use: Suspension : EMSPowered, High Quality, Great Service, Low Prices

Ah, I didn't realize this was the MK1 section. Yes, we also have them for the MK1 here: Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilover System (AW11) - $925.00 : EMSPowered, High Quality, Great Service, Low Prices

K-Sports are probably fine for driving around.. maybe.
for track or competition use KW is the bottom of the line that I'd consider |

K-Sport outta be fine then. If you get serious about competition you'll probably want to upgrade though

depends on your budget, aaannnd I'm not 100% sure what all high end stuff is out there for the Mk1. I can tell you for myself I am going the route of having the stock strut tubes modified to accept a customizeable Koni strut insert and then add generic coilover sleeves and fairly high rate springs around that package. KW would be my far distant choice, mostly because I am not confident they will handle the spring rate I would want to toss at them and there is little info out there about having them revalved to handle higher rates
