Question Seeking Info: Strut Housing Comparison

Hey folks. I need some basic fitment comparisons / contrasts with regard to stock rebuildable strut housings on the 85-86 MR2s vs. the 87-89 models. I notice that many sites list Tokico Illuminas under those two categories (and two different prices) so it made me wonder if there is a difference. Having said that, I own an 86 so the question should answer itself but I bought a take-off set from an individual who also owned an 86. The take off's are 87 housings loaded up with ST springs and Tokico Blues. The blues are roasted (leaking) and need to be replaced. Does anyone have any intel whether there is a difference between one housing 'year group' over another (other than the tabs for the rear stabilizer bar)?

Thanks!
