WILL this eng work in my Mk1 easily?

I don't klnow if you got an engine or not but what I have is a 2.2L DOHC engine Fam LTY2.2V5FCC3 1990 Celica GT 5spd w/ 155K (it just got a new timing belt and tune-up w/ compression test runs great!) 600.00 with the 5spd.

That is in response to a want ad ............

It will take quite a bit to make that engine work in your MKI. That's also pretty expensive compared to what you can buy those 5SFE engines for. Also, it doesn't really have much more power than your original engine.

I'd suggest looking for a 4AGE from a MKI for that price.
