pro's and con's

i have an 85 AW11 atmo and i think my head is stuffed so i am looking at a better engine. what would people this is better a 20V atmo or an SC as i am in two minds about what to do ( i have never seen a 20v sc for sale so i dont think i can do that).
with the 20V do i keep my gearbox or use one from the rolla? i dont think you can but just wanted to check, can i use my computer? is my cooling system enough to cope with either engine? anyone that has done this any tips that i can give the guy doing it?
with the SC is there anything i need outside of the engine bay that wouldn't come with a half cut?

thanx

20v pros and cons vs the gze

pros:
-cheaper
-lighter
-better fuel economy
-more reliable and easier to work on
-roughly the same performance as a stock usdm gze (weaker down low, stronger up high)

cons:
-not as easily upgraded as a gze
-in the US, some parts are a little harder to find. In AU, neither came stock.

( i have never seen a 20v sc for sale so i dont think i can do that).
well there is some talk about using a turbo for forced induction i dont really know much about aussie stuff but as far gze compared to 20v ur only limited to your own skills and pockets of course i guess if the gze didnt come stock in au then its really coin toss on parts and availability as far as knowledge on modifications billzilla for the gze I mostly learned of mods on the 20v through here and a few other forums the 20v can be cheaper considering the source and the amount power produced stock is much greater than the gze esp. w/ the blacktop you can use the bt electronics on the silvertop engine and create more power since emissions isnt a problem for you you can also use carbs as i have heard and have even more power really as i said its possibilities are only limited to yourself

the 85 AW11 didn't come to australia from toyota, only as a very low volume import(i have never seen another one). later models did come with a SC in aus. as for parts being hard to find i dont really care or i would have got a commodore (lots of them in aus, a 4 door pontiac GTO but crap). price wise i dont think there will be much differance but i am yet to speak to the guys that will be doing the work. i know it is a bit bias asking people with 20V's in their cars but i figure you would have gone through the same things i am. thanx, i think i will go for the 20V
